This page explains how to request deletion of your Ocean6 Affiliate account and associated personal data handled by OCEAN 6 SDN. BHD. (Registration No. 202601005724 (1667822-A)).
How to request deletion
Email hey@theocean6.com from the email address linked to your account. Your request must identify the account email so we can locate the correct profile.
If your app provides an in-app account deletion option, you may also use that path where available. Google Play and Apple App Store require apps that support account creation to offer an in-app way to initiate account deletion.
What we verify
We may ask you to confirm account ownership before processing a deletion request. This helps prevent unauthorised deletion of someone else’s account.
What we delete
After we verify your request, we will delete or anonymise account data held in Ocean6 Affiliate. Website enquiry records may be retained only where necessary for security, legal, audit, or dispute purposes.
Some records may be retained where required or permitted by law, or where needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or meet legal, tax, or audit obligations.
Timing
In-app deletion requests are scheduled for processing no earlier than seven days after the request is submitted. This grace period allows time to cancel the request before personal data is removed or anonymised.
To cancel before the scheduled date, email hey@theocean6.com from the email address linked to your account. Pending users cannot sign in while deletion is pending, so support-assisted cancellation is required.
After the scheduled date, verified requests are processed automatically. Some records may still be retained where required or permitted by law, or where needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or meet legal, tax, or audit obligations.
